User-facing screening app

Rewilding Opportunity Explorer

This explorer is a core-plus-variants decision aid. Start with the shared shortlist, compare how nature-first, balanced, and low-conflict lenses change the ranking, then adjust the weights yourself to see which candidate cells stay robust and which are objective-specific.

Adjust the scoring mix

Preset lenses load a starting mix. As soon as you move a slider, the app switches to a live custom lens and re-ranks every packaged cell.

How To Read It

What the main parameters mean

This app is a screening tool. The controls below help compare tradeoff lenses and trim the shortlist, but they do not replace local site checks or detailed feasibility work.

Tradeoff lensPreset lenses are starting mixes of weights. They express different policy priorities, while custom mode lets you rebalance the same component scores yourself.
Minimum scoreThis filter hides weaker candidates under the active lens. Scores are relative screening scores, not probabilities or guaranteed outcomes.
Minimum connectivityConnectivity is an inverse distance score to existing priority habitat. Higher values mean a cell sits nearer to current habitat networks.
List sizeThis only changes how many filtered cells are listed in the right-hand shortlist. It does not change the underlying map or ranking.
